Anna Shepard is a journalist, ghostwriter and author. She writes mainly about green living, contributing to national newspapers and magazines, including The Times, The Guardian, The Telegraph, Daily Mail, Prospect, Red, Elle, Psychologies, New Statesman, Waitrose Kitchen and Women & Home.

She wrote the Eco Worrier column for the Saturday Times for four years and was a judge on The Times’ Green Spaces Awards. She is currently a contributing editor at greentraveller.co.uk and writes a column about green parenting for Sense magazine.

Her book, How Green Are My Wellies, published by Transworld, argues that you can green your life without compromising on having fun. It was shortlisted for a Clarion Award.

Anna also appears regularly on radio and TV, including BBC News 24, Countryfile, Radio 5 Live and BBC Radio Wales. She lives in Hackney with her partner and son and a tub full of worms.
